
The Children’s Ministry of PIWC-Ho, The Church of Pentecost has climaxed Ghana Month Observation with wearing of Ghanaian traditional dresses on Sunday, 26th March, 2023 at Mawuli Estate, Ho, in the Volta Region.

According to Elder Isaac Ocran, the Children’s Ministry Leader, they asked the children to wear Ghanaian clothes to climax the observed Ghana Month which happens every year in March. The children were taking through some Citizenship Education topics during the month of March.

Some of the topics they treated include “Respect for People in Authority and Leadership”. They also taught the children, “The role of the Church in Producing Good Citizens”. The objective was to nurture the children to become loyal citizens when they grow.

Speaking to the members of the Children Ministry, some of them explained that the clothes they were wearing are used by chiefs and royals. Others also mentioned the different regions that their traditional dresses represented. The dresses worn represented almost all the ethnic groups in Ghana.
