Ask me of a man of God who is humble.
I will straight away mention Elder Prof Seth Yaw Peasa of The Church of Pentecost. He is an Executive Committee Member of the Evangelism Ministry, Ho Area Executive Member, the founder and leader of the El-Bethel Prayer Centre, past Presiding Elder of PIWC-Ho. He is on quite a number of boards and committees.

He is married to a fire brand woman full of the Holy Spirit, Mrs Deaconess Doris Delali Peasa. They have a beautiful family.

I have known Elder S Y Peasa since 2010. Actually, I heard his name before stepping foot in Ho, the capital of Volta Region, Ghana.
Elder Peasa is domiciled in Ho. As a servant of God, the work of God takes him to both near and far places across the globe, example Mali, South Africa, Israel, several countries in Europe, etc.
For Togo which shares a boundary with Ghana on the eastern side, the citizens frequently enjoy so much of Papa Peasa’s ministrations. He tells us Togo is his second home.

Elder Prof Seth Yaw Peasa is a power minister of the Gospel. He operates in almost all the Holy Spirit gifts. He is seen in the aspects of miracles, healing, casting out demons, prophesying, word of knowledge and wisdom, speaking in diverse tongues, etc. He teaches Bible based truths and frequently receives Holy Spirit inspired songs.

He has served in almost all the ministries of The Church of Pentecost at the various levels, notably the Evangelism Ministry. He has a strong passion for evangelism. He got converted during an evangelism outreach by The Church of Pentecost. Once in a while, he recounts on how he and a couple of friends carried a generator and other items from Kpetoe to Ho on foot.

He has always supported his virtuous wife, Mrs Peasa in all roles she plays in and outside the church. I am proud to announce to you that, they are married for over 32 years and still counting. They are role models for a lot of young christian couples.
Of the things I admire about him most are his frankness, generosity, respect and love for mankind, both young and old, above all is his humility.

He tells us of his not too exciting backgrounds during his childhood at Dwenase, his hometown in the Eastern Region of Ghana. A man of his calibre always tells the congregation of how God has been gracious to him and his household. Elder Prof Seth Yaw Peasa always gives the glory to God. He wholly appreciates how far God has brought him.

He has a very good memory and easily recollects events in history. For the history of The Church of Pentecost, Ho Area, from the early 1980s, Elder Prof Seth Yaw Peasa is a sure help.
He loves evangelism and setting captives free from the kingdom of darkness. As such, Elder and Mrs Peasa gladly honour invitations from other Holy Spirit led churches and denominations.

Elder and Mrs Peasa are involved in a lot of philanthropy. They donate to institutions and individuals. They have a high level of prominence with respect to tithes, various forms of offerings and donations at their local church. Every end of year, they organize banquets for all the worshippers at El-Bethel Prayer Centre.
After church service, he cannot leave early because there are always scores of people from far and near who come to see him. There are instances people join church services because they want to see Elder for advice, healing, funds, and other needs. It is only an accommodative person who exhibits such patience.

What makes him provoked is when someone uses his authority to suppress the other. He immediately intervenes for the suppressed person. He is totally for justice and equity. He is actually a voice for the voiceless, and a father to many orphans.

Another aspect of him is his acknowledgement and admiration for talents, gifts and services of persons.
One spectacular example is his ever readiness for enyomedia, a budding christian media started by this reporter. He has always granted interviews at either short or long notices.

He has respect for children. He is always seen either praying for or giving gifts to children around.
His love, dedication, respect, towards the aged is unmatched.
Elder Prof Seth Yaw Peasa has love for books and he is widely read on a lot of subjects other than religion.

Papa Peasa always inspires people to be better than they are and he explains that God the Creator has given humans the ability to rule, dominate and conquer.
Anyone who knows Elder S Y Peasa may never forget his interpretation skills. He has done a lot of interpretation for well known ministers across the world who find themselves especially in the Volta Region on international platforms. He speaks impeccable Ewe laced with proverbs. He is good in languages and as such does not find it difficult in translation of songs received in one language to the other.
He is not selfish, at the just ended Christmas Convention of Pentecost International Worship Centre, Ho, he prayed for and imparted unto people who wanted to do interpretation.

I asked my children to describe Elder Peasa.
Evandy Celestine Mornyuie (16):
He is a servant of God. He is God fearing and hardworking. He loves people.

Apostle Samuel Noble Mornyuie (14):
A humble person, tolerant, generous, speaks the truth, goal getter (dream achiever), for example, he is building a huge temple at the El-Bethel Prayer Centre of The Church of Pentecost.
Emmanuel Sitsofe Mornyuie (12):
He is a man of God.
He is a professor.
He is a prophet.
God has used him to heal many people.
Theodora Solace Aseye Mornyuie (10):
He is good.
He is kind.
He is loving.

I wrote this out of observation of these humble and honourable man and woman of God.
All errors if any are mine.
