Ho: PIWC-Ho holds graduation ceremony

The Children’s Ministry of Pentecost International Worship Centre (PIWC-Ho) in the Volta Region has held a graduation ceremony for 27 of their members and ushered them into the adult church through the Youth Ministry on Sunday, 11th September, 2022 as part of the activities to climax the 50th Anniversary Celebration.

The week long celebration saw the children in activities such as listening to talks, quizzes, debates, gospel night and listening to PIWC-Ho Church pioneers.

On Saturday after their representatives contested in the Ho Area Quiz, the PIWC-Ho Children’s Ministry headed to Madanfo Heritage, a children’s home in Ho and offered provisions worth about One thousand, five hundred Ghana cedis (₵1200.00).

The climax of the celebration on Sunday saw the children doing a lot of activities in the adult church. Present at the Sunday service were the presbytery, members, parents and well wishers. The activities included Bible recitations, poetry, song ministrations, choreography, career talks, etc.

A young lady, Janice gave the sermon titled, “God’s goodness in equipping children to possess the nations”. Some Scriptural quotations she used were Psalm 100: 4- 5, Mathew 11: 25- 26 and Mark 10: 13- 16.

Certificates and awards were given to the graduates and deserving persons respectively.
The Resident Minister, Pastor David Francis Akayue acknowledged the Children’s Ministry Workers and all who supported the week’s activities especially Elder Prof. Seth Yaw and Mrs Doris Peasa for their massive support.

There was refreshment. The programme was very successful and left the parents and all the people present so surprised.
