On Thursday morning, Apostle Dr Dela Quampah spoke to the topic, “The Testimony of Jesus is a Spirit of Prophecy”. Rev 19: 10(1- 10)
He said Prophecy works in the Ho Area of The Church of Pentecost, examples are through songs. Jeremiah 2: 7, Hosea 6: 2.

He explained that in every generation, God chooses and graces some people through whom He works in the form of
Prophecy and Revelation and this results in new hope, new life, and new victory for the people. He gave Agabus, Hosea, Samuel, Elijah, Elisha, Isaiah and Malachi as some of the prophets of old.

Dr Quampah noted that though the worship of Christ is not taught in schools, theology is revelation caught by some worshippers of Jesus Christ. He emphasized that, “without prophecy, Christianity would have been lost and God would not be heard”.

Apostle Dr Dela Quampah said prophecy has multiple applications which include impartation of knowledge and wisdom, works miracles, saves, redeems, inspires, and gives courage. Other applications are creativity, equipping for service, restoring valuables, and overcoming the challenges of life.

The Ho Area Head explained that
everyone can prophesy but not everyone that prophesies is a prophet. He said that a prophet stays on a unique path and he added that, “the prophetic will challenge information with revelation”.

Apostle Dr Dela Quampah advised the congregation to say uplifting words and avoid saying discouraging words. “Why won’t you hold on to hope. I take out all hopeless statements from your lips”, he said.

He went on to say that prophecy speaks God’s mind, demonstrates God’s power in a situation. He prayed for wonders to happen in the congregation’s life. “May God push you to where people think you cannot go, because of prophecy. You will be praised where you were insulted.
The valley of Achan shall be the doors of hope. There will be favourable changes in the life of your spouses, children, situations, etc. There is hope for your future. Jeremiah 29: 11″, Apostle Dr Dela Quampah prophesied.

He enumerated a number of exercises done through Prophecy. Some of which are showing the way, drawing the people towards righteousness, and pronouncing God’s judgement.
“May Jehovah open your eyes as you see the future”, he prayed.

Concluding the sermon, Apostle Dr Dela Quampah, the Ho Area Head of The Church of Pentecost gave a hopeful prophecy for Ho, the Volta Regional Capital, and its environs. He said that the stones that Ho is noted for will turn into diamonds. “A time is coming when people will thirst to be in Ho. People will come from all walks of life, all over the world to see the glory of Ho”, Apostle Dr Dela Quampah said repeatedly.
