The Ho United M/A Primary School located in the Volta Regional capital, Ho, has organized a quiz competition for its learners.
The quiz which had 6 participants from each stream was conducted for both the Lower Primary and Upper Primary levels.
It covered areas in Mathematics, English and General Knowledge. Stream B was first at both the Lower and Upper Primary levels.
The headteacher, Madam Beauty Agbeve expressed her appreciation to the staff, participants and the entire learners for a successful quiz.
She indicated that, “this is just the beginning. Quizzes will be held every term”. She also encouraged the learners to learn hard as she emphasized that they are the future leaders and so with God’s blessings, they will do well.
Mr Gilbert Aguadze, the quiz master in his closing remarks said some of the participants showed fear. He advised them to relax. He told the learners to be confident and bold and improve for next competitions.
The participants were given prizes.
Rebecca Danso, a class 5 learner gave the vote of thanks to the excitement of everyone. Greatness Olowoyo, a class 6 learner said the closing prayer.
