The Church of Pentecost has ended a weeklong celebration of the National Youth Week. The event started from Monday, 5th June, 2023 to Sunday, 11th June, 2023 in all assemblies worldwide with a variety of schedules.

On Sunday, at PIWC-Ho in the Volta Regional capital, Mawuli Estate, the occasion had the Youth Members display their talents in drama, choreography, spoken word, etc, to the glory of God. The colourful event had in attendance the church leadership and congregation.

Giving the sermon, Elder Saviour Amenyemor, Ho Area Youth Executive Committee Member, spoke to the topic, “Repositioned in Christ, Going For Excellence and Maximum Impact”. With scriptural references from John 14: 12, Genesis 21: 14- 19, and others, he charged the congregation to practice servanthood and exhibit honour to each other so as to be repositioned in Christ.

Elder Amenyemor said that the repositioning in Christ leads to developing a new zeal, fire and passion. A repositioned youth will be filled and be led by the Holy Spirit and be aware of the enemy’s devices and tricks. He added that a repositioned youth is productive and fruitful.
He also said that a youth filled with the power of the Holy Spirit is impactful and brings a difference.
“Leave footprints and be remembered for good not for evil. May we be intergenerational, relevant, and be assets to our generations. They should hear our names and be encouraged and empowered.”, Elder Saviour Amenyemor explained.

Elder Ebenezer Asare-Budu, the Youth Leader remarked that the weeklong celebration was very successful. He was also grateful to God and all who helped in diverse ways.
