The Church of Pentecost in Ho Area has on Sunday, 11th December 2022, honoured Precious Anani, the overall winner of the 2022 Preacher Kid Contest which was held at PIWC, Asokwa, Ashanti Region on 18th September, 2022.
Present at the programme were a section of the Ho Area Pastorate and their wives led by the Area Head, officers and the congregation.
The Ho Area Head, Apostle Dr Dela Quampah noted that Ho Area is extremely talented because both 2021, 2022 national winners were produced by Ho Area.
Pastor Cephas Akakpo, the Ho Area Secretary gave a sermon with scriptural
reference John 1.
“Where one is born does not matter, but what comes out of the fellow. It is only God that gives victory.
Be happy wherever you hail from.
Something good can come from you, no matter where you come from.
Children are an inheritance from God.
Because of Jesus Christ, Nazareth has made news.
Because of Precious Anani, Klefe in Ho Area has been glorified.
Take good care of your children, teach them the fear of God. Instil in them good deeds and their lives will glorify God and be a blessing to Ghana.”
Elder Samuel Atenu, Precious’ coach was acknowledged for the yeoman’s task he performed.
The Ho Area, all ministries awarded Precious Anani with various gifts.
The Church of Pentecost Headquarters awarded a flat screen Television to the Klefe Assembly which produced Precious Anani.
The Area Leader, and coaches also received plaques and other gifts.
Elder Emmanuel Avornyo who is an Area Executive Member added that the services of Precious family have also yielded or contributed in the victory.
He advised all present to take serious whatever service they find themselves in.
Accordingly to Elder Avornyo, Precious Anani’s maternal grandparents Elder and Deaconess Esuasi devoted their time and all so much to work for the Kingdom of God in Ho-Bankoe District of the church.
The atmosphere was full of jubilation and the congregation was grateful to God.
