WO1(rtd) Eric Amegboe has had a session with learners in the above named school on Thursday, 24th November, 2022.
WO1(rtd) Eric Amegboe who is a retired military man was at the school by the invitation of the class teacher, Mad Graciela Bansah.
The retired military man started the session with the Class 6 learners by a prayer. He then took the learners through the topic, “Coups in Ghana”.
The interaction of the down to earth retired soldier with the learners made the learners have a fair knowledge of happenings in the history of Ghana.
The learners asked questions which were answered.
A learner admitted that through the lesson, he is now aware that coups in Ghana started in 1966 to 1981 and that other persons apart from Flight Lieutenant Jerry John Rawlings.
WO1(rtd) Eric Amegboe also used the session to advise the learners to be respectful, take their lessons seriously and avoid bad friends.
The class teacher and the entire class members appreciated WO1(rtd) Eric Amegboe for spending time with them and teaching them about topics such as, Constitution, Arms of Government, Firing Squad, etc.
The retired military man who is an opinion leader said it is a privilege to pass on knowledge to the learners who are the future of Ghana.
