V/R: Divine Rescue.

Deacon Selasie Gadzie, a deacon of the Church of Pentecost at PIWC-Ho, Mawuli Estate has given a testimony at church on Sunday, 20th November, 2022.

Deacon Selassie Gadzie giving the testimony.

Narrating the incidence, Deacon Gadzie who is a plumber, said he went to work on Friday, his 5th wedding anniversary at UHAS Main Campus. His engineer asked him to instruct some labourers to lift water tanks up a 1-storey building. He said that, he declined the order, his reason was that, he led the labourers to do a similar job, and the labourers were never paid.

According to Selasie Gadzie, he later realized that the labourers were doing the same task wrongly. He stepped in, reversed what was being done, so that together with the labourers, they started afresh.

The poly tanks that were to be lifted up the roof of the 1-storey building were 4. They successfully placed the first 2, the third one had also been placed on the roof.

Deacon Gadzie explained that just as they thought that they had finished placing the third poly tank, he lifted his eyes up the building. He saw the poly tank falling back to the ground. He gave a warning shout and all the labourers, about 6 of them got to safety. It was now left with him alone.

Deacon Gadzie said, he stepped back, and immediately the poly tank landed at where he initially stood. That stepping back changed the narrative. The poly tank landed without rolling, which is not the normal case. He said that, the carpenter on site exclaimed that, “as for you, you have something”. The Deacon Plumber said that, he replied, “Yes I have Something, I have God”.

On one-on-one with this reporter, Deacon Gadzie explained that, he would never had survived the incident because, the Rambo 250 poly tank fell from about 35 feet high.

All glory to God Almighty for the His graces.
