About a hundred people have undergone a one-day workshop on entrepreneurial skills development at the Ho Dome Central Chapel in the Volta Region by the Ho Area Pentecost Men’s Ministry and Star Entrepreneurship on Saturday 23, July 2022.
Present at the programme were some pastors and wives from the Ho Area, the facilitators and participants drawn across the Volta Regional Capital, Ho and its environs. Some of the participants were members of The Church of Pentecost whilst others were non-members.

Giving an address, the Ho Area PEMEM Leader, Pastor Michael Edjouku Arthur was grateful to God. He acknowledged the Ho Area Head, Apostle Dr Dela Quampah, the Ho Dome District Minister, Pastor Stephen Viku and all others whose help made the training possible.
Pastor Arthur said there is high employment rate in the system so PEMEM thought of organising the skills training programme to equip the participants with skills to start their own businesses to alleviate some of the challenges of unemployment if not eradicate all.

Pastor Michael Edjouku Arthur further explained that, “Pentecost Men’s Ministry has an objective to develop the man spiritually, physically, socially, psychologically, and in all other aspects so the programme was in place for the financial development of the participants as they have learnt new ideas to put into business”.
He added that the Ho Area PEMEM was ready to give financial support for some start-ups.

The facilitators from Star Entrepreneurship took the participants through the production of brown sugar, washing powder, weedicides, ice cream, shoe polish, and bio digester. Others were 3D epoxy installation and fixing of CCTV camera.
One of the facilitators, Deacon Prosper Ewoenam Ametefe advised the participants not to think ahead of God and that God will open avenues for them to develop what they have been trained in into practice and business.
The participants were given certificates and pen drives with practical videos. They were so appreciative to the organizers as they had acquired new skills.
