Giving the purpose of meeting, Apostle Dr Dela Quampah extended greetings from The Chairman and Executive Council. They had gathered to glorify God, have fellowship, and then to relaunch the Teen Ministry, which has not received the needed attention in recent times though it had been around.
“It’s on record that Ho Area Youth Ministry is one of the vibrant in the country”, he emphasized.

Apostle Dr Quampah explained that the teenagers are dynamic, powerful, they have potential, and that their age is the time to dream. Doing a relaunch will make the Ministry to Teens be alive, invigorating, stand strong and be revived in Ho Area of The Church of Pentecost.

A documentary from the headquarters was shown that said:
* 75% of The Church of Pentecost’s members are below 36years. There was a need for repackaging and relaunching
the Ministry to Teens as they have special needs during their formative years, as such the need to catch them young.
* The teenagers absorb and process what they are taught and utilize these in later years.
* The teenagers do not believe in positions, but those they can trust in tranquility. Their caregivers must remember that the young people need to be groomed holistically. Luke 2: 52
* Efforts should be doubled to ensure that teens take part in the mother church’s activities.
* All key leaders including pastors, presiding elders should ensure that the teens are adequately catered for.
1 John 2:6
* Parents should be involved and interested in both the spiritual and physical aspects of their children.
* The Word of God caters for all needs of the teens.
* The teens are assured of love from their leaders as they are being equipped to possess the nations.
* The leadership of the children and youth ministries should partner to man the teenagers.
* Parents are encouraged to release their teens, the ministry is to ground the teens and unleash them for works of Christ.

Deaconess Comfort Lotse Adade, the
National coordinator for the Ministry to Teens gave the exhortation, titled, “Serving God In Your Teenage: Why, How, to Serve God”.
With scriptural references from Ecclesiastes 11: 7-10, Proverbs 22:6, Isaiah 55: 8-9, Romans 8: 28 and
personal experiences, she taught the gathering to serve God because He knows the future, He gives joy, peace that surpasses all understanding and turn the bad around to become good. She explained that, “serving God in your young age does not promise a future of no trouble. When you focus on God, the challenges of life are not overwhelming”.

Deaconess Adade advised the teenagers that because thoughts, habits, behaviours during the teenage years have influence on the adult life either positively or negatively, they should choose to do good in their teenage years.

The Ministry to Teens National Coordinator informed the teenagers to worship God with their talents. They could clean, sing, play instruments, preach, usher and easily serve God in their everyday life. The teenagers were reminded that words are powerful so they should serve God with their words, speak words of life and encouragement, avoid gossips and stop rumours.
Ephesians 4: 29
They were encouraged to show appreciation and to respect their parents, guardians and all.
Deaconess Adade emphasized that, “it is possible to worship God in your young age”. She encouraged the young people to avail themselves to God’s Work and keep christian circles to put them in check.
