The Parent Teacher Association of the above named school has held its general meeting for the second term of the 2022 academic year on Thursday 26th May, 2022 at the school’s premises at Ho Bankoe in the Volta Region.
Present at the meeting were the School Management Committee (SMC) Executives, the Parents Teacher Association (PTA) Executives, the parents and the teachers of the school.
The headmaster, Mr John-Fabians Tengey welcomed the parents and thanked them for attending the meeting. He presented the learners’ ability in reading he had collated class by class to the parents and this was discussed.
He also pointed out some improvements in the general life of the school. Some of which are punctuality and regularity. He expressed his thanks to GHACEM who aided the Ho Bankoe Roman Catholic Mixed School with 100 bags of cement which contributed immensely in making the on going one storey building school block now habitable for K G 2 learners.
The building had been started with voluntary contributions both in cash and in kind by the parents. He also added that if more of the bags of cement could be received to complete the whole building, he would be glad.
Mr Tengey again thanked the parents for their various contributions for the success of the school.
He however enumerated some challenges the school faced in delivering their duties. Some of these include some learners not having reading and writing materials for studies. He advised the parents and guardians to invest in their wards by supplying them with all their needed learning materials.

Mr Agbesi Latsu, the Chairman of the Parent Teacher Association also expressed the need for the parents and guardians to give off their best input for their wards’ learning activities. He also thanked the parents for availing themselves for the programme.
The teachers and parents also made suggestions on how to help the learners to be better in their studies in particular and life in general. Some parents had concerns which were addressed by the teachers to bring clarity.
